Global Warming: How to Reduce Our Carbon Emissions

Posted in Going Vegetarian, Home Business, Low Carbon Footprint by Val on June 12th, 2007

Why “An *Inconvenient* Truth? I call it “The Killer Truth.” Global warming triggered 45,000 deaths in Europe in the heat wave of 2003. Like Katrina, the weakest were the biggest hit (weakest in money and body). Hurricane Katrina’s are bred in oceans that are heating up.

This Killer Truth of global warming will spread until WE, each one of us, takes ACTION to stop it. It’s our *collective* action that’s causing it. It’s not a remote chimney somewhere. All those chimneys serve one purpose – to house, clothe, feed, medicalize, entertain and transport humans and their animals. So it’s humans who are the problem.

Al Gore’s DVD makers at climatecrisis.net state:

“We can solve this problem. We have a moral obligation to do so. Small changes to your daily routine can add up to big differences in helping to stop global warming. TAKE ACTION.”

But then click on “Take Action” and “Ten Simple Steps” and NOT ONE step mentions the United Nations report of November 2006 detailing the BIGGEST carbon guzzler and carbon emitter in our daily life! Bigger than your car even.

Read extracts from the UN Report here. One way to end the multiple problems facing our earth today – global warming, pesticides, genetically engineered food, wildlife extinction, see the full list here – is with a GOGREEN network of Reps.

The job of a GoGreen Rep is to help change lifestyles. Read more about launching a home business as a GoGreen Rep here. I hope one day to see a GoGreen Rep in every community on earth :)

Here’s your chance to build a home business that’s easy, fulfilling and makes a real difference to people’s lives and to our irreplaceable planet.

Job Stress: How to End Stress at Work

Posted in Staying Young, Home Business by Val on February 27th, 2007

Are you trapped in a job where your soul does not belong? Deep down, are you unhappy? Researchers compare it to a caged animal.

Stress activates an enzyme in the brain labeled PKC or Protein Kinase C. “This enzyme is implicated in bipolar disorder [manic-depressive] and schizophrenia,” reported Amy Arnsten of Yale Medical School, who led the study into PKC, published in the journal Science, October 2004.

Not surprising that we feel schizophrenic in a society that places money as the purpose of human life! We all know our purpose is fulfilment, love, peace, knowing ourselves, knowing why we are here – and enjoying every moment.

“Know Thyself” said Socrates. It’s the first step toward freedom – finding the peace within.

A huge part of feeling fulfilled is to love what we do. Are you doing what you love? Or are you working to pay the rent?

Best-selling rawfood author Frederic Patenaude is offering to help us earn a living on the Internet following our passion, doing only what we love to do.

If you don’t know your passion, where your soul belongs, then he will help you to identify it.
